Tsunami is a disaster in Survive The Disasters 2.
Description[]
A huge wave approaches the map! Tsunami comes from any direction and travel to the opposite side, being instant-kill on contact. It will pass through any solid structures it encounters on its path, and carry wandering parts remaining on the floor along the track. Tsunami will slightly lower its height as it crosses the map. The water flowing on the floor will indicate the direction Tsunami is moving at. Walls that are not crossed by the wave have a small gap of 2 studs where players can avoid it with safety.
Hyper Tsunami[]
Tsunami behaves similarly to the standard Tsunami, except the wave never shrinks in height as it crosses the map. It also has a considerably faster speed.
Impossible Tsunami[]
Tsunami is slightly taller and travels at an extremely fast speed. The map wall safe spots on the sides are now covered by the wave, making it harder to survive without gravity-reducing items, such as the Gravity Coil.

Survival Tips[]
Quickly get to elevated non-unstable surfaces, using gear such as the Gravity Coil or Fusion Coil. Alternatively, use the gaps on the walls that are not crossed by Tsunami.

Trivia[]
- Tsunami is one of the few disasters in the game that have a duration of 20 seconds, with the others being Death Trampoline, Epic Katana, Lumberjack (hyper and impossible), Missile Strike, Neon Blaster (impossible), Nyan Cat, Shoop Da Whoop and X-Bomb (hyper and impossible).
- Prior to a change in Version 1.22, Hyper Tsunami behaved differently: the wave was extremely huge, however, it would lower drastically through its path.
- In the alpha and beta versions of the game, Tsunami had a slightly higher hitbox, and always spawned on the northern side of the map (where Reaper and Black Mage spawn).
- During the April Fools 2018 event, the disaster announcement splash was renamed to “soonami”.
- It is possible to survive both standard and Hyper Tsunami if you stand against the wall since the length of the tsunami doesn't fully touch them. However, in maps such as Wacky Warehouse, due to extended map walls, the trick will not work. It also does not apply to Impossible Tsunami as stated previously.
